Equilibrium Yoga and Sailing
CYCLADES, GREECE • 13-20 June 2026
Picture this: rolling your Yoga mat, watching the most beautiful sunrise you have ever witnessed, slowly waking up your body, breath and mind with a gentle Yoga practice. A day can start like this on our trip.
Equilibrium is a retreat like a holiday, an invitation to bridge Yoga and sailing and everything in between: island hopping, enjoying fresh sea food, dancing until late in picturesque taverns. All on luxurious sail boats with the best view from dawn ‘till dusk.
Grab your travel Yoga mat and let’s sail together. You don’t need to be a long time Yogi or have any sailing experience to join us, just the curiosity to enjoy life, in togetherness.
Please keep in mind Equilibrium is a weather-dependent event.
Here is a bit of flavour…
Your Hosts
Yoga teacher certified by International Yoga Alliance after an in-depth study in a traditional Yoga school (ashram) in India. Also Gong Master, and the woman behind Cub. Find more about myself in the ‘About’ section, but even more during the sailing week.
Diana - Yoga teacher and Gong Master
Vladi is our skilled skipper, navigating us through the islands. Coming from a sailing family, he has moved from one boat to another every summer since early childhood. Vladi has been working as a professional skipper for more than 4 years worldwide and his swag lies in his super calm attitude.

Let me tell you more….

Life on a boat is not your regular day-to-day life. You will be triggered and mentally provoked by some aspects of the experience, but hey…..it is a Yoga experience, right? Let’s stretch the perspective a bit.
The luggage space is testing your packing skills, that’s for sure. Be prepared for a rather small space. The bathrooms are equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. There are only double rooms available (double beds). If you are joining alone, be prepared to share a cabin with someone you have just met. Alternatively, you can book an entire cabin just for yourself (so you will be paying 2 spots). As we will be spending more time off the cabins anyway, the sea will be our garden to play in.
As we spend most of our time outdoors, the route and all activities depend on the weather conditions. Please be prepared for the schedule to be changed on the spot if Equilibrium’s skippers consider it necessary.
Our experienced skippers are not only boats captains, but part of the overall experience. They all are professionally trained skippers, yet from time to time they might need our help. Please rest relaxed, there is no need for you to have sailing skills, just the attitude to roll your sleeves and help. We want them not to miss a nice bay (wink wink) and to take some nice pictures while we are practicing Yoga in a beautiful spot.

Which Yoga style are we going to practice?
All our Yoga practices are rooted in Hatha Yoga (mother of all Yogas). But we keep the mind flexible and we will approach it from various angles - from tonic, dynamic flows to restorative, contemplative, and relaxing techniques. Classes include: Pranayama | vital force and breath control and contemplative, immersive meditation techniques.
The overall schedule will include: Hatha Yoga classes, Yoga Nidra, mantra chanting, Gong Baths, guided meditations, Pranayama.
How the Yoga practices will look like?
Basically, we are going to have 2 main Yoga classes daily - early in the morning, bathed in the mild sunlight, and at sunset - timeslots when Yoga practice is recommended to be done due to the highly energetic load. Please be reminded Equilibrium is a weather dependent event.
Morning classes will be more active, and afternoon/evening classes will be relaxation-oriented. We are also adding on-the-spot interactive discussions about how Yoga can be involved and developed into daily life.
Where the classes will take place?
Some of them on the beach, others in places we know and set beforehands. Depending on where we are and the class type we are going to have (physical practice or sound healing), but always in accordance with Mother Nature’s will (friendly reminder Equilibrium is a weather dependent event, always bound to Mother Nature’s wisdom). Please review the route layout for a full description.
I don’t have any Yoga experience. Can I still join?
Sure thing. The entire experience is tailored for you to enjoy the retreat with maximum joy, regardless of the Yoga level of experience. Anyway, Cub’s philosophy applies to Equilibrium as well: all classes address the human, not the label of the practice.
I don’t have any sailing experience. Can I still join?
Sure thing again. Our super-trained skippers have it under control. Occasionally, if the context asks for it, we will be their wingmen, but with minimum sailing involvement.
What food do we have on board?
Before setting the sails on, we will load the boat with all we need for delicious breakfasts and snacks (for in between sailing segments). Please consider snacks can easily serve as lunch. A before hands list will be prepared and you will be asked to mention one thing - food related - you simply cannot live without during the sailing week. Please note extra food related expenses will appear during the sailing week. Apart from the initial list, each boat crew is free to add all the items they commonly agree upon. The cost is considered an additional expense and is to be shared between the group on the respective boat.
Water and non-alcoholic drinks are included for as much as needed.
What extra food related expenses mean?
Depending on the weather conditions and the locations we will reach, we will eat together in local taverns (either lunch or dinner). These expenses are not included in the retreat’s price.
Please note: it is customary for the crew to cover the meals of the skipper (excluding alcohol) when we dine together.
Please consider also the answer for the above question.
How do we get from the airport to the marina?
For Paros airport, there are 2 options:
by taxi - it is a 20 km ride, around 15 minutes and 15 EUR
by bus - a direct bus departing hourly, daily
What boats are we sailing with?
We will sail with catamarans and monohulls. Basically, flats on water. Please feel free to ask for more (technical) details.
Are we going to meet the full sailing gang in advance?
This experience is designed to address people worldwide. There will be a virtual introductory get-together to set up some admin stuff and to set the vibe already. Also, a communication group will be set up prior to the retreat to enhance our connection.
Can I join even if I am by myself?
You are more than welcome to join by yourself or with your friends. The experience is about connection, joy, and being present in your life with everything it brings to the table. Be ready to share the cabin with another Yogi if you are a solo-traveler.
How can I book my spot?
Fill in the form on the website with minimum information about yourself. Shortly after, I will get in touch and guide you through the next steps.
What happens at the last minute I won't be able to join?
A regular refund policy applies.
100% refund - if a substitute for your spot is provided;
no refund - if you cancel and provide no substitute.
Please note if your spot is booked with the 300 EUR deposit and you cannot join, due to administrative reasons, the deposit will be lost unless you find yourself a substitute.
I really want to join, but I don’t know if I am seasick. What can I do?
Seasick is not fun indeed. Though, if you are about to find it out on our journey, there are some tricks you can play to make you feel better:
pack some essential oils in your luggage: ginger, lemon, lime, lavender
if it makes you feel safer, you can also pack some seasickness patches and medicine.
Any other things I should consider?
Equilibrium is designed around practices of Yoga & Sailing.
We do not encourage and we do not accommodate (attitude and money wise):
alcohol consumption on the boat
waste of resources (water, food, space)
disrespect for each participant’s need for relaxation and best time on the boat.
Equilibrium is a weather dependent event. If the context asks for it, we will adapt our schedule in accordance with Mother Nature’s wisdom (including Yoga classes, where to eat, where to sail, how much time we spend in different locations).
We will also have a “day off”. Only island hopping, shopping, feeling the local vibe. No rush, just breathe the relaxing, salty air of the island.
